Riley Reiff to say in Minnesota
Following the trade for Yannick Ngakoue, it was clear that the Vikings need to make salary cap room to keep Ngakoue. The first person that came to mind for the Vikings ws Reiff.
Riley Reiff signed a five-year $58.7 million deal with the SKOL nation back in 2017. He was entering the fourth year of his deal was was set to make $10.9 million this season.
According to over the cap, cutting Reiff would of saved the Vikings $11 million this sesaon.
Minnesota asked Riley to take a pay cut or be released from the team. According to Ian Rapoport, his agent called around the league looking for trade offers, but none were taken.
Pro Football Focus he is ranked at the 37th overall tackle out of 82 players.
